Well, as many of you know, I am getting ready to leave for China in about one month. Of course, first I will be stopping in the Lovely California to visit some friends and then to attend training to teach and to learn a little bit about Chinese culture before we actually take off for China.
We will learn what groups we have been placed in and where we will be teaching in a few days. I will be sure to update this site with the information.
My first week at the home base (Sodak) has been filled with "taking care of business." In other words, I have gotten my wisdom teeth removed, will visit the doctor, will read a few more books about China, start praying, and catch up with family friends. The month will go extremely fast.
My parents have been so good to me and spoiled me immensely. I think I have earned extra sympathy partly because I look like a chipmunk (wisdom teeth), but I will take what I can get. They are truly the epitome of service.
